Southwestern High School’s football team played a 13-0 season on its new A-Turf field propelling the team to the state championship finals.
The Southwestern Trojans led the championship game 21-0 at halftime, well on their way to win their first state title in any sport. The Trojans scored three touchdowns in a 1-minute, 10-second span and beat Croton-Harmon High School, 35-7 to win the championship title. The Jamestown, NY team was crowned NYSPHSAA Class C state champions.
